urine big trouble.

someone has been peeing on my stuff. i don't know which one of the little buggers it is, because the act itself is silent... then i either smell it, or hear one of them scratching around the area, and then it's too late. it's happened 3 times in 3 days, and i am tired of doing laundry. ::sigh:: i think it might be monkey this time... she jumped into my lap this morning, and smelled like she'd just been in the litterbox (ugh)... then a minute later, i smelled that old familiar smell and, upon investigation, found a few spots on my sheets. a few spots is bad -- it means the culprit is having bladder contractions, just like when a person has a UTI and you feel like you have to go even though there's nothing in there. so i'm taking monkey to the vet in an hour, and crossing my fingers that i picked the right cat.

in the meantime, on the way home from today's meeting i went to petsmart and bought a kitty water fountain. it's really kick-ass, the water flows over a dome and the cats lick it off. so far these two just want to play with it, although angus gave it a good slurp a few minutes ago. i'm hoping if they drink more water, it'll clean out whatever bladder mess is going on. jeez.

oh... and "shaun of the dead" is a freakin' FUNNY movie.
