besides the fact that we still have a big emotional distance between us, there's a new twist. it looks like i'll be getting promoted within the next year, and will have to move to the company's headquarters. which means the relationship will officially be over. there's no way i can work towards this new job, interview, etc. and keep it all inside for the next 6 months or more... it'd be wrong to not tell him. i'll probably tell him this weekend, so that he can decide what he wants to do.
