sleepy saturday morning

wow, i slept almost 11 hours last night. i guess i needed more rest than i thought! i'm glad i got it though, because today is jam-packed full of housework and errands. i am getting a break though -- dad called me last night and said he wanted to drive down and take me to lunch. he's never done that. (granted, part of that is because for most of my adult life i haven't lived within 350 miles of him...) so dad and i will have lunch, i'll go back to cleanin', and then tonight is a b-day surprise party for my best friend's husband... at a catering hall that should win the prize for worst name ever: VEREINIGUNG ERZEGEBIRGE. ("gezundheit.") the only people i'll know there are the family of my friend, so i guess i need to try to look cute. and make a good impression. great.

i'm still having freaky dreams, the recent ones involve me getting pissy at people and throwing tantrums (which is so unlike me, i'm really unnerved when i wake up). what the hell is going on in my head???

Gah! I'm not even going to try and pronounce the name of that place... I'm afraid I'll hurt my tongue :P

I didn't get 11 hours of slumber, but at least I got to sleep in past 8:00am, which was nice :)
