got the perfect snowstorm last night. enough to coat the ground a few inches, but not too much that i had to shovel my car out. *grin* i got up at 6 this morning to start the shoveling ordeal, and saw that i'd be able to just drive my car out. wahoo!

of course, this raving old lady down the street had to ruin my mood... i went to my car (i had to park several blocks away, because you can only park on one side of the street during the snow) and started clearing the snow off of it... and this miserable woman comes over to me and yells, "you'd better not mess up my sidewalk!!!" i wasn't getting any snow on her sidewalk, i was putting the snow in the street. so here i was in this great snow-induced mood, and she had to ruin it by snapping at me instead of being nice and neighborly. i hate people sometimes.

i perked myself up again by walking into the square for coffee. i was covered with snow and freezing cold, but it was so beautiful and peaceful out... so i walked the 4 or 5 blocks in the snow to dunkin' donuts, and got some coffee. and i'm very proud of myself -- i walked right past the mcdonald's without going in and ordering a greasy breakfast. and didn't get breakfast from dunkin's either, just the coffee. yay!
