what kind of hotel waits to start room service at SEVEN am??? right when most people have to head out the door to go to work? my hotel, that's what. the one with the room that smells like a combination of pine and stale cigarettes, and has the worst 1980s decor of florals and stripes i've ever seen. mom is back from her long weekend today, i'm hoping she can spring me from this joint and let me stay with her for my last few days.
i put angus back in the kennel yesterday. i had to, for a number of reasons. mainly, i was worried all day that the housekeeping staff was going to accidentally let him out, even though i had a "do not enter" sign on the door. i just couldn't stand the stress from worrying about him, and i figured i'd rather miss him for the week and know that he was safe. so he'll stay there until sunday, when i can pick him up and bring him to his new apartment. god, i'm gonna miss the little dude.
i won't be missing that yowling all night though. man, was i tired by the end of the day, after he kept me up all night. i was thiiis close to going to bed right after work, but i didn't want to mess up my sleep schedule... so i bought a magazine and went to the local red lobster (everything around here is chain restaurants, i miss boston so much) to eat at the bar and have a lovely conversation with the 2 gals working behind it. came back home, took a long hot bath, and was passed out by 8:30. didn't wake up until my wake up call at 6... i really needed that sleep.
