let's see if i can actually pack something today. yesterday i couldn't bring myself to put anything in a single box. today, besides buying a car and getting some work clothes (no more suits! yay!), i need to start cranking on the packing and throwing away stuff.

i'm glad i went dancing last night. there were a lot of fun halloween costumes, and i had some great dances with people. and one rockstar dancer gave me the biggest compliment -- she said that thursday night, she and a few other girls were watching me as i danced, and they were saying that i looked beautiful. (what???) she said, "you are absolutely glowing... we figure you must be in love." i felt like saying, "honey, if there has ever been a time where i've been emotionally farther away from being in love, i can't think of it." seriously, i think it was just because i was wearing sparkly makeup. *grin*

thank god for daylight saving time... i actually feel rested this morning.

Eva Lux died on Sept. 20th. I just thought I would let you know.

i googled her name and found a few references to a drug overdose on a discussion board. how sad - i read her through your LJ, and i thought she was a strong, articulate voice.

yeah, she was a really interesting, sweet girl. i loved reading her LJ over the last couple of years, and was pulling for her as she turned her life around. this is so, so sad.
