swingchickiethe last 2 days have been really good. pleasant surprise, considering that it's getting darker each day and i'm getting more and more exhausted. (time to break out the light box, blecch.) but things have been going well, so my mood is not as dark as it usually is. *grin*
yesterday my manager was with me for the day. i was nervous as usual, but it turned out to be a really good day overall. and he gave me a huge compliment -- he told me that a presentation i gave at our recent team meeting "blew him away". that totally made my day. *grin*
but then, the day got even better... i picked up all the free boston weeklies to read last night, and when i opened one, what did i see? JAMIROQUAI IS COMING TO BOSTON!!!!!!* OMGican'tstanditi'msoexcited!!!!!!! tickets go on sale tomorrow, and i am SO there. i'm going to be jumping out of my skin all day now! whee! and let's talk about how tempted i am to see them a second time... they're going after that to NYC for a couple of days, god i'd love to get NYC tix make it into a little road trip!
*i would, however, like to take a second to blast ticketmaster for being lying bastards. they have a thing set up where you can get an e-mail if any of your favorite bands are coming to town, so you can get tickets... of course, i have jamiroquai on my list... but did i get an e-mail? NO. thank god i saw it when i did!
* edit: i just checked my e-mail, and they just sent me the stupid e-mail in the last 5 minutes. not too psyched about the one-day notice. but oh well.
