swingchickie | okay, i feel a bit better.

walked into the square for a few minutes tonight. it's nice and cool out, in the 60s, and the square was just packed with people enjoying the break from last weeks' heat. dozens of people were sitting on benches eating ice cream, so i got a small black raspberry cone (so i'd fit in and all) and figured i'd wander a bit. as i came out of JP Licks, i heard "jenn!" and there were 2 friends of mine from dancing, one of whom just moved to davis square a few weeks ago. they were at an outdoor table at the teeny italian restaurant i've never eaten at. chatted with them for a bit, listened to a gal playing guitar for spare change, and then headed back home.

i feel more at peace now. i'm not happy with the earlier darkness, but the walk and fresh air did me good. i love living here. :)
