swingchickie | i really, REALLY need to get away.

a couple of girlfriends from work and i are planning on going to NYC for a long weekend in september. so, do any of my NYC peeps have suggestions for cool places to go (restaurants, nightclubs, shoppy places)? i bought a NYC guidebook written for twenty and thirtysomething chicks which is pretty cool... it even tells you which clubs are in areas of the city that are hard to get cabs in late at night. at this point, my preference is to spend a chunk of time in carapan, a spa i love, and then maybe shopping or a fun makeup lesson... then go out for a fabulous dinner and spend the night drinking and dancing my hiney off in a fun club. but i am very open to suggestions...

i was thisclose to taking today off. i need a mental break after all the stress of the week. i'm just gonna get through this day, and then cut loose at the b-side tonight. and, this weekend, are you ready to faint? i am FINALLY going to see the inside of D's apartment! after 6 months, he finally cleaned the heck out of it so i could come over, and he's going to make me dinner and everything. i'm bringing a bottle of champagne to celebrate. *grin*
