swingchickiei'm getting a tattoo.
made the appointment this afternoon, after spending the last week figuring out exactly what i want and coming up with a basic design. but whoa, i am scared shitless. truly. excited, and scared shitless. what didn't make it easier is erick, my tattoo guy, telling me, "it's gonna hurt when i do it." lovely.
i've been kicking this around for a decade, and didn't do it before 'cause i couldn't figure out the perfect thing to get. now that i've figured it out*, i'm freaking. hee hee. and at redemption, while i was waiting to make the appointment, there were 2 girls going through catalogs of flash... picking these massive designs that they were about to get put on in a moment. no thinking about it, just "yeah, that's cute, put that on me for the rest of my life." amazing. i must be a total wuss. *chuckle*
*design: a black cat (designed by shag) with green eyes... with retro sparkly things around it and the numbers "5678" (as a dance reference). whee!
