holiday bringin's

so, i have 2 (possibly 3) BBQs to go to this weekend, and they're potluck. any suggestions on cool stuff to bring? i was thinking either going old-school and making devilled eggs... booze-y and bringing fun drink mixins... or try something new and make a hoagie salad (lettuce, tomatoes, onion, hot peppers, salami, ham, provolone all cut up and tossed with oil, vinegar and oregano).
