swingchickielet it snow really really hard this afternoon... i'm desperate for a really good snowstorm! all we're really supposed to get is some freezing rain. crap.
went to a great wedding over the weekend. 2 close friends, one of them i've known since freshman year of college. some other college friends were there, so it was great to see everyone. it was a bit frustrating too, though... i wasn't able to dance, because the b.f. wouldn't get out there. it was all couples dancing, and he and i sat tehre at the table, while i felt this sickening longing to be out there on the floor. when we first started dating, he sneakily took a swing dancing lesson so that we'd be able to dance together at weddings and such... i was so thrilled, because that's all i wanted -- not a full-time dance partner, just someone who would do a step or two with me at a wedding. but since then he's decided he doesn't ever want to dance, and so i'm stuck. even slow dancing to 1/2 a song was hard for him. damn me for having a hobby that requires another person... it just adds to the confusion i'm feeling about our relationship.
i've been really productive over the last couple of days. sunday i was a holy terror from 9am-6pm... i did the dishes, 4 loads of laundry, scrubbed the bathroom, straightened up the apartment, did some office work, baked a cake, and prepped for people coming over for the super bowl. then i proceeded to eat 500 lbs. of carbs that night. lol but GO PATS!!! i was so excited for the team. the guys there were excited for janet jackson's boob. LOL yesterday i did a bunch of paperwork, paid all my bills, designed a training program for work, did my federal taxes, plus made my sales calls and all. worked from 8am-9:30pm. but it felt good when i was done, like i'd really accomplished a lot. now if i could just get my ass to the gym...
