a mini dilemma
Jun. 22nd, 2005 08:22 pmi test drove a mini cooper this evening, for a hoot. i have mixed feelings about it. on the one hand:
- they're darn cute
- they handle really well
- they're roomier inside than you'd expect
- they're reasonably priced
but, on the other hand:
- the salesgirl who rode with me sat in silence and chewed her gum, and made no effort to sell me on the car
- there's no haggling over the price, which i thought only saturn did
- they only had a few in stock, and if i ordered what i want, it'd take 2-3 months to get
so, hrm. i mean, i might not even need to get a new car... but if i do, i'm not sure the mini is the best right now. especially 'cause i wouldn't get the color i want right away. gosh darnit.
