swingchickiei cancelled my eharmony account today. it was so ironic -- i joined on valentine's day, and 4 days later i met D. *chuckle* i haven't communicated with a single match, i've just spent the last 2 months (and my $100 membership fee) deleting 5-10 matches a week. i still have a month to go, but what's the point? i'm insanely happy, so the weekly matches and e-mails from eharmony are just a nuisance.
if anyone has the $100 to spend for 3 months, though, i'd recommend it... i mean, i didn't meet anyone (obviously), but heck, it seems to work for some people. although the company takes themselves soooooo seriously... the whole thing is geared towards finding a soulmate/spouse, which gets kind of intense after a while. for me, anyway. but if you're of that mindset, as they say, "it can't hoit."
