swingchickiei am seething right now.
i've been home for most of the day with an upset stomach... i've just been lying on the couch, bored and queasy as hell. the b.f. called me late in the afternoon to remind me that one of his friends was coming over so they could watch "angel". (he has a standing wednesday night thing with a friend who happens to be an ex-girlfriend, to watch the show every week 'cause it's their favorite.) so i asked if she was coming over at 9 because that's when the show starts... he said she was coming over at 8 to watch a previous week's episode on tape, then the new one at 9.
the frustrating thing was that i'd been planning to watch "american idol" all day. it was the one little thing i was looking forward to, since i felt like crap. he said it was okay, we'd watch my show at 8 and they could watch the tape another time... then they'd watch their show at 9.
well, the b.f. forgot to mention the compromise to his ex, until she came over at 8... and had a BIRD that she wasn't going to be able to watch 2 straight hours of her stupid show. she just kept saying, "he promised... he promised... i wouldn't have come over if i'd known i wasn't going to watch both" etc. etc. like the WORLD is going to stop if you don't watch your fucking show in SEQUENTIAL ORDER... so i did the polite thing, since she was a guest, and told them to watch their show and i'd find something else to do. so basically i've been sitting in my office, stewing, playing games online and killing time before bed.
i think i'm just going to go to bed now, so i don't dwell on how pissed i am. dammit.
