swingchickie* guess who has 2 tickets to see tom jones perform this summer at the pavilion? I DO!!! woo-hoo! finally, i get to see tom jones in all his cheesy, hip-swiveling, ass-shaking glory. the big question is, which panties do i bring to fling onto the stage...
* the rat problem was actually a mouse problem. so i feel a bit better now. *whew* mice are cute, so even though they completely defiled my belongings, i'm not quite so creeped out.
* last night was so much fun... D, J, L1, L2 and i all went for drinks and mezze at the red fez. we spent like 4 hours there, drinking, eating our faces off, and listening to jazz by candlelight. D got along so well with the gang, i was so happy. they loved him. and when it was all over, we drove home and were snoring in under 5 minutes. hehe i'm getting so old. :) i really can't wait to see him this weekend... we had so much quality time last week, and this week has been so rushed... i'm jonesing for one of our marathon kick-ass conversations.
* i worked a job fair today, and god am i exhausted. like an idiot, i wore these really stylish black spike heels with my new suit... not realizing that we'd get SWAMPED and i wouldn't sit for 6 hours straight... plus we were in a college gym, and the floor was this spongy material that made it harder to stand comfortably. my legs are screaming right now, and my feet have curled into these hard, sore little balls. oh, and note to any job applicants out there: if you're at a job fair, if you *really* want a good job, do your research on the comapnies first. do not walk up to a representative of one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in the world, and ask, "so... what does this company do, anyway?" grrrrrr.
