swingchickiei saw the documentary "inside deep throat" this afternoon... with, of all people, the ex. you KNOW all bits of a relationship are gone, when you can sit next to the person for 2 hours of sex talk and not have one single teeny weeny stirring. hee hee the movie itself was good, really informative considering i was only two when the whole uproar over this issue started... and really graphic, i truly didn't expect to see scenes from the film in such explicit detail. definitely not a first date movie. :)
speaking of first dates. brunch this morning was a bit odd. it was me, T, her roomie, and D, a guy we had met at the B-side lounge on friday night. according to T, D had said that he was interested in me. now, i took this with a grain of salt, considering that T also thought that J (one of my best friends) was really into me when we all went swing dancing a few weeks ago! but i will say, D and i spent a long time in conversation friday night, and he's a really interesting and cool guy. imagine a teeny hint of paul giamatti (the good parts), only much better looking and hipper... very outgoing, smart, well-spoken, and with very similar music taste to mine (anyone who loves lavay smith and the reverend horton heat gets major points with me!). so anyway, T decided we should all go to brunch this morning, and he'd agreed to meet us there. brunch itself was fun, the 4 of us talked and laughed non-stop for 3 hours... but when it was all over, he just said goodbye to me and walked to his car. so, meh. *shrug*
the really sad thing is, though, i should be more disappointed than i am. wonder if the dating spark just hasn't ignited in me yet.
