project runway
Dec. 2nd, 2004 06:21 amthe first episode of "project runway" was last night... and i have to say, it was really good! starr looked so sad and frail at the end when she was almost eliminated... i wanted to just reach through the tv and hug her. but she's on for at least another week, so i'm so psyched... 2 more months of crazy outfits made from candy and corn husks...
and daniel has the best hair ever. not to mention class... even though he was a bit of a kiss-ass, he was very nice when he got eliminated. especially since he thought he was a shoe-in and was completely shocked.
i actually watched the show at my friend C's house... she was the model in starr's portfolio pictures that were shown on the show. a bunch of people got together at her place before the show for tacos and dessert... i ate beforehand 'cause i was starving, and i'm so glad i did... as people were eating and raving about the tacos (they smelled great), she told them that the "meat" was actually tofu. i forgot that she's vegetarian... and i'm allergic to soy. eek! so my pre-party meal saved me. the night was fun, i didn't know anyone there very well... most of them were people i knew from dancing, but hadn't ever really talked to them because they all kinda hang in their own crowd. so it was nice to get to know them better.
somehow i have to rally this morning... i have to give my hour-long workshop this morning, and i am STILL sick from a week ago! how can one body produce so much mucus? blecch.
