sooooo good to be home...

wow, it feels like i was away for a month. 5 days can seem like an eternity when you're visiting family in PA. i'm going to have to do a recap of the xmas holiday in another entry, because there was so much... and i couldn't post while i was home, 'cause mom's computer was down and my company laptop doesn't allow posting on sites like this. i couldn't bring myself to do it yesterday, even though i had the whole day off, 'cause i was just so burnt out from the trip. i spent the entire day playing video games, watching oprah, and eating chinese food. i'm such a slug. *grin* watched the 2-hour marathon of "the simple life" last night... what a guilty pleasure. it really is a train wreck that you can't stop watching... there were points that i was literally writhing on the couch because i was so uncomfortable with what was going on onscreen. fantastic!

cool gifties i got for xmas:

- a light-up "lounge" sign for the austin powers room
- a bright red plastic and chrome ice bucket and cocktail shaker
- the simpsons trivia game
- all of simply red's videos on DVD (wahoo!)
- 2 video games: "law & order" (awesome) and "hard rock casino"
- memory for my computer
- mani/pedi at an awesome spa
- 2 CDs of pix of me and my family when i was like 2 years old (courtesy of dad and his new computer setup)
- crystal chess set (now i just have to learn to play)

can't believe i have to work today, after all that vacation time. please, oh PLEASE let them tell us to go home early...
