this just totally made me LOL. some guy bought a cassette tape from his local library for 10 cents, it's a tape radio shack sold with a bunch of answering machine messages on it. you can listen to them here (side A), the second one just kills me. i need one of these to be my cell phone message.

Hah! Voice mail messages are so bland now. I call people all day for work..and most of them are the generic voice thats already pre-recorded. Blah. I used to have the song from Willy Wonka on mine ("Come with me...and you'll be..in a land of pure imagination") Fun stuff!

You can download audacity for free and use it to edit the .mp3 file to only contain the part that you want. It's a very useful piece of editing software.
