srsly, nature?

swingchickieis another 1-3 feet of snow really necessary this week? the rain is already flooding the streets because it's melting the other 3 feet we had on the ground... i'd say this was very poor planning on your part, perhaps you should hold off and space your storms out a bit better in the future.
jack managed to finagle his neighbor with a big van to drive jack's snowblower all the way here (40 minutes away). his neighbor is such a saint. looking forward to having some machinery help with this next storm... much, much better than shoveling for a couple of hours. (although i did really enjoy the exercise.)
i have plenty to keep me busy tonight -- laundry (lovely pumpkin peed on the bed, i guess she got tired of the front entrance), making a customer hoop, and we'll see if i can stay awake for "lost".
BTW -- did anyone else see the russian ice dancing team's "aboriginal folk dance" routine the other night? were you as horrified as i was? i'm all for pushing boundaries, but i don't think yanking a woman around the ice by her hair while making faces is very culturally sensitive. according to the news, it was originally worse -- their original costumes were made of brown mesh to make them look black. my mind is officially boggled.
