saturday morning musings

wow. i slept for 9 hours last night, and feel like a new person. i wish i could sleep in like regular people... instead, i get my extra sleep by zonking out in front of the TV at 9pm. i'm so exciting. note to self: if i ever need to get a good night's sleep, all i need is a big steak off the grill and a glass of wine. zzzZZZZzzzz.

thanks to the awesome derbyhat, i now know that my hoop-and-lesson combo actually was raffled off last weekend. the person who ran the dance just never replied to my e-mail. another note to self: check with a person directly before posting an uncaffeinated rant about the situation.

fun, fun weekend ahead. this afternoon i'm going to get to see some old college friends (who i haven't seen since graduation, whoa), and tomorrow is a mall marathon to get some (hopefully on sale) new work clothes. in the meantime, duck has had his morning snorgle, i've had my coffee, and it's time to make a hoop that i'm dropping off to a customer this morning who lives about a mile away.

still covered in splotches, but they're starting to fade. i'm guessing it'll be another 4-6 weeks before he can come out of that room. :(
