help!!!!

i don't know what to do about tonight. i have 2 options that i can't decide between:

1. the love dogs, a band i adore, are playing at swing city. i haven't seen them live in about 2 years. they're always fun to dance to... however, a lot of the "regulars" (my friends) aren't crazy about them and may decide to make other plans for the night. so i might have no-one to hang with.

2. there's a special west coast swing dance (what i've been doing lately) at another place, and the proceeds benefit a new dance team that's trying to raise money to compete nationally.

i'm torn... both'd be fun, but in different ways. both would involve dancing (good), but different types of music. and one would be fun for me selfishly 'cause i'd like to see the band... the other would be support for other dancers. BUT one place could have no-one i know... the other would have people i know, but the same crowd i see every week.

Sounds like Option 1 might not be as fun if you're on a half-deserted floor. If you figure there's going to be a bunch of people there, just a bunch of strangers though, go with Option 1 - you'll make new friends and new connections that way.

If, however, you feel that there'll be as many tumbleweeds as dancers at Option 1, go with Option 2. It would keep your energy up and would be for a good cause, and would satisfy the feel-good-inside appetite you have.
