swingchickie* dad is home and resting. turns out it wasn't a stroke (thank god), just a bad case of vertigo. they're not sure why he has it, but according to my dad there were at least 2 other people in his ward with the same symptoms (including the guy who shared his room)... which tells me it's a bug that's going around, like the one i got last year that felt the same way. he's still wobbly, but happy to be home in time to watch the eagles game this afternoon. :)
* jack is starting to feel better after his cold really gave him an ass-kicking. this is day 4 and he's starting to feel more chipper. hopefully in the next day or so he'll be 100% and can start taking care of me... because i woke up this morning with it. *weep*
* totally unrelated: "frost/nixon" is a great movie. highly recommend it.
