* you can eat half of a giant molten chocolate cake with cappuccino crunch ice cream, and still lose a pound that week.

* a "shorti" turkey hoagie with lots of veggies on a whole-wheat roll is not the healthy lunch you'd expect -- it's actually very little core and a buttload of points. one slice of provolone cheese = 3 points. *cringe*

* you really can weight-watchers-ify pretty much any food to satisfy a craving, rather than eat the real thing and burn through 500 points. i've been doing so with little substitutions so far, swapping out low-fat and skim cheeses, skim milk, etc... next for me to tackle: pizza.

* exercise really REALLY helps... not just for toning and cardio fitness, but because it can add free points for you to burn through if you're going to be eating out or whatever.

down 6 pounds in 2 weeks, 10 pounds since the beginning of the year. w00t!

You rock. It's amazing how some weeks you can get away with a few naughty things. :D

hee! well, i totally saved points up all week for that cake. the hoagie ate up quite a bit of those points, so i had to change what i ordered for dinner... but it was so worth it. :) i like that i can make trade-offs to reward myself with thing i *really* want as a reward, instead of randomly eating crap. :)
