things i have learned from WW in week 2:
Oct. 27th, 2008 02:51 pm* you can eat half of a giant molten chocolate cake with cappuccino crunch ice cream, and still lose a pound that week.
* a "shorti" turkey hoagie with lots of veggies on a whole-wheat roll is not the healthy lunch you'd expect -- it's actually very little core and a buttload of points. one slice of provolone cheese = 3 points. *cringe*
* you really can weight-watchers-ify pretty much any food to satisfy a craving, rather than eat the real thing and burn through 500 points. i've been doing so with little substitutions so far, swapping out low-fat and skim cheeses, skim milk, etc... next for me to tackle: pizza.
* exercise really REALLY helps... not just for toning and cardio fitness, but because it can add free points for you to burn through if you're going to be eating out or whatever.
down 6 pounds in 2 weeks, 10 pounds since the beginning of the year. w00t!
