weather.com is calling for 85 degrees and "abundant sunshine". with a forecast like that, and no meetings scheduled, i just couldn't resist. :)

what to do? i'm thinking of finally planting some flowers in my back garden, i'll do that in the morning before it starts to get too warm... and i have a 4pm hair appointment. between that is a chunk of 4 or 5 wide-open hours, what to do? maybe wander around manayunk (i've haven't been there in years) or chestnut hill, or have lunch in the city? hrm.

if you had a random weekday off to spend all by yourself, what would you do?

personally, when given a block of time on a great day like tomorrow - i would play tourist!

take my camera and walk around the city and just look at everything from a different perspective than how i normally view it. i would take myself to lunch at a place i've never been before - and perhaps even hop on the Phlash and take it out to the art museum and stroll along the river, again with a camera.

That sounds absolutely lovely. I wish I could do the same! I would garden, treat myself to lunch and a good, long read in a coffeeshop, work on my fishtanks, and probably take a nap. Now that I've thought about it, you've got me really jealous...

Enjoy your day :)

Apparently, I start with good intentions to clear the branches out of my yard, then fail to start and pay the guy that offers to do it.

Then I get a call from work for a problem that no one understands.
