happy anniversary!

swingchickietoday, jack and i celebrated one year together. how crazy to think that just over a year ago, i was freaking out over going on a date with "the cute boy from work"... now, in the time since, we've gone on 2 vacations, learned how to hoopdance, been covered in meerkats, started an online business, and wreaked all sorts of general havoc together. and yeah, like, fallen in love and stuff.
even after 12 months, i still get butterflies every time i know i'm going to see him. i still think his burps are hysterical. (yeah, i know that's just a matter of time.) i still get all schmoopy when i see angus follow him around the house with stars in his eyes. i'm incredibly lucky to have someone in my life who is so selfless and loving and smart and freaking hysterical. and hawt. and who can make chinese takeout and a DVD feel like the funnest date ever.
