random friday stuff

* love ebay so much. i have 4 things up for auction right now (jack has me on a total ebay kick), and it's amazing what does and doesn't appeal to people. i have a pair of 14k gold earrings up there with no reserve, and not a single bid (they retail for approx. $250, someone could get them for $10 and no-one's even bidding)... but a silver tiffany ring that i bought years ago is already up to $77 (i paid a little over $100 for it). too funny.

* jack is coming back from NH a day early (tomorrow), and i'm thrilled. i miss him already (i know, i know, i should be psyched for the free time... i can't help it).

* my hoop website is allllmost up and running! now that i have my logo (thanks adam), i worked really hard to pull the whole site together... now i've been spending the last several evenings making one of each hoop so i can take pictures for the listings. i have to say, they're turning out to be really beautiful. my favorite so far is "HulaWeen" -- stripes of orange glitter, black grip tape, and white photoluminescent tape so that it glows in the dark. the photoluminescent stuff is a PAIN to work with, but it's so worth it to see the hoop all glow-y when the lights are out!

I am thinking it should be possible to use it in my bedroom on days when I am parentally unable to go jogging and Eleanor cannot be motivated to the park and etc. Those things are incredible.

OK! Yah, I liked the masculine look of Jack's, and black (predominantly) and red are my preferred colors.
