happy mommy's day!

swingchickiehappy mother's day to all my mommy friends! *mwah*
well, the "meet the parents" weekend was a big success. i liked his dad and stepmom, i liked his mom and stepdad, and my parents looooved him. meeting his mom was a hoot, i didn't realize that he hadn't told his mom i'd be there. so his mom walked in the door, i was like, "hi!", and she just about fainted away as he said, "surprise, mom! see? she DOES exist!" hee. so all is good with the world. except i don't ever want to eat in a restaurant again -- an entire weekend of meals out with family peoples has my tummy going WHOA.
i start class tomorrow, and i'm feeling like i'm not ready. i've spent so much mental energy on impressing parental units this weekend, when normally i'd be obsessing about class. i'm sure it'll all work out tomorrow once we get going, but in the meantime i think a lot of sleep will be lost tonight.
