swingchickiethe gals at hoopnotica freaking ROCK. i e-mailed them the other day to give them feedback on my new travel hoop... it was a new design, and they wanted feedback from everyone who pre-ordered... i told them it was a fun hoop, but the pink grip tape was already starting to rip after dropping it over the course of 2 weeks. they e-mailed me yesterday, to say it was a manufacturer defect, and they're shipping me a new one as soon as the new batch is ready... AND i don't have to send the first one back, they said i can keep it as a practice hoop to bang up! talk about customer service!
i FINALLY started up dance classes again at la luna last night. i haven't been going for a couple of months because of that herniated disc in my neck, but it was feeling ok yesterday so i drove down there to check out their level 1 hip-hop class. it was "eh", the teacher's teaching technique wasn't great... but the dance combo was fun, and i left there sweating like crazy 'cause we did it so many times. i'll probably go again next week, and if it still seems as easy as i think, i'll look into level 2. they're also starting a bellydance class... should i look into bringing out my inner shakira? hmmm...
