swingchickie | stop the world, i want to get off.

my equilibrium is off from being on the ship for a week... i was told this'd happen, but it's still really freaky. i'll be standing or sitting still, and then all of a sudden i start tilting to the right because it feels like the floor is moving underneath me. hee.

no simply red for me today. bah. i remembered that my handyman was supposed to come over to fix my roof today (it's leaking)... but that didn't happen either 'cause it's raining. so i indulged myself with a little end-of-vacation shopping at franklin mills (for the non-philly folks: franklin mills is a massive outlet mall here). i put a serious hurt on the ann taylor outlet (yay work clothes!), found 2 super-comfy-cute pairs of sandals, and raided the sale at bath and body works to score mom's mother's day gift (and some coconut bath gel for me).

tonight the boy and i are going to just veg out. both of us are exhausted. around 4pm i was dead on my feet, then it hit me that that was the time we'd take a nap every day on the boat, and my body's trained now. great. i'm glad i took today off, i was completely useless. :)
