yes, the song was submitted last night... now we just have to wait and see if it makes the top 20. i have to say, really, it's not horrible! he made it a sort of new order-type song, with a few hints of 1960s doors-ish stuff thrown in at times. it was hysterical to listen to the finished product, to think, "he read my lyrics and THAT tune popped into his head???" it's wild. but i'm psyched.
on a semi-related note, if you haven't seen "tenacious D and the pick of destiny", you HAVE to rent it. omgsodarnfunny. i know jack black is hard for some people to swallow, but there are some parts that are absolutely brilliant. i mean, come on -- you can't help but shoot diet coke out of your nose when a 20-foot-high satan starts talking about "tasty riffs". BWAhahahaa!
