is mother nature off her meds?

i just woke up to find SNOW on the ground. the nor'easter continued last night, with crazy howling winds that i seriously thought were going to send a tree through my roof. when i got up, i expected to see flooding in my yard... nope, just 1/2 inch of snow. W. T. F...

there are some pretty pissed-off birds and trees outside right now. in the last week, i finally started to hear the little tweets of spring, and saw several gorgeous bluejays in my yard. the forsythia in my backyard is in full bloom, and the ginormous weeping cherry tree at the side of my house is maybe a week away from exploding into a riot of pink. now i'm worried that my beautiful trees are going to go the way of the magnoolias this spring, and turn brown from the cold. oh, that would so completely suck.

What awful weather

Really...I feel bad...as I was sitting outside in the sun today eating lunch, I was mentioning how bad the weather was. We started to talk about it but it was really warm so we had to move to the shade and, well, the conversation just got sidetracked.

Still, hope your snow clears up and such...
