everybody's working for the weekend...

swingchickiein my case, a 3-day weekend starting tonight. w00t! because it's good friday tomorrow, my manager cancelled the two meetings we had on the books, so i am completely clear. which means i'm taking a day off. whew. the thing is, there's so much random stuff i have to do -- get my hep A shot for the cruise, pick up clothes at the dry cleaner's, do yard work and filing at home, get my hair cut... and somewhere in there try to hit the gym. of course, if my hoop arrives early, all that will go out the window while i spend hours giving myself bruises around my waist. :)
speaking of hooping, the boy has once again proven his rockitude. i showed him the clips on the hoopgirl and hoopnotica sites last night, and told him about my new obsession... then i showed him the site that sells LED light-up hoops for $250, and said my goal (if i still looooove hooping in december) is to get myself one of those for xmas. to which he replied: "for $250??? no way, i'll make you one. let's find instructions." we looked up instructions, he took mental note of what he'd need, and now someday he's going to make me a blinky light-up hoop. he is the shizzle, yo.
