the cat is in the doghouse this morning.
Mar. 14th, 2007 06:39 amhe kept me up alllllllll night last night. for some reason, he has become jealous of the boy (this just started a few weeks ago), and every time he crashes at my place now, angus is just plain ol' bad from the moment we fall asleep until we get up in the morning. he scratches the living daylights out of my mattress, he scratches the suitcase that's standing in the corner of the room, he goes back to scratching the mattress. we locked him out of the bedroom last night, and he started scratching the underside of the door with one claw: *pik*... *pik*... *pik*... *pik*... aaaaarrrrggggghhhhh!
what does he want with all this commotion? for me to watch him eat. i'm not making this up. if either of us gives in and feeds him a few crunchies, he's quiet for about 2 minutes while he snarfs down a few... but he saves most of them, and a little while later starts raising hell again. and the boy going downstairs with him doesn't do anything... it has to be ME. i finally gave in and followed him downstairs around 3am, he went right to his bowl and dug in... i patted his head and stood there for a few seconds... and that was it. he didn't bother us for the rest of the night.
but now i'm running on about 2 hours of sleep, when i have a huge meeting to run all day today. grrrrrrrrr.
