swingchickieis mah boyfriend, cooking me an amazing dinner, wearing an apron (yes, and other clothing, you pervs) and drinking a glass of white wine while he scooted around the kitchen. daaaayum. that's what i saw when i first walked into his house last night, and i just about melted.
i also learned something about myself last night: that it is not wise to watch "meerkat manor" on animal planet after a glass and a half of wine. or actually, i probably shouldn't watch "meerkat manor" at all. because besides the fact that i kept squealing about how much i wanted a meerkat, or 5 (so they could all sleep in a pile)... i got WAY too emotionally involved in the lives of these little creatures. the boy was like, "give me the remote, i'm changing the channel"... and i was like, "BUT THE BABIES! I HAVE TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENS! THEY DON'T HAVE ENOUGH FOOD AND THEY'RE GOING TO DIE AND THE BUZZARDS ARE GOING TO GET THEM! WHY OH WHY IS FLOWER STEALING ALL THEIR FOOD FOR HERSELF??? *worried gnashing of teeth*"
yeah, not a good idea for me to watch that show any more. i wore myself out and was asleep on the couch by 9:30. i'm such an exciting date.
