yesterday was star's memorial service, and all i can really say about it was that it was incredibly sad. many people have been saying the same thing: "there are no words." there really aren't. it was sad and i'll miss her and i seriously expected her to sit up in her coffin and tell us it was all just a really well-planned-out joke. no such luck. the stories people told about her were really touching, most of them funny, all of them just sooooo "star". but the best quote came after the service: one of the girls in attendance came over to boutell and said, "we don't know each other, but i recognize you by your head". (look at his userpic to understand.) that was just so fitting, all of these people gathered together to pay tribute to star, and so many of us are connected online (even if it's just recognizing a head).

tonight will be a very fitting tribute: a star-studded sex dwarf (and go-go's night to boot, oh the irony). i can't wait to see everyone and dance my butt off in her memory.
