swingchickiewhat an exhausting day at work. i literally ran non-stop, including running a meeting at lunch, from 7:30am-6:30pm. i could SO go to bed right now. zzzzzzzzzz. everyone on my team is overworked and pissy. funny thing is, a couple of people who are on the outskirts of the project (but still involved in it) have been commenting on how organized and on top of things i am. it's such a rollercoaster as i deal with different people -- compliment, negative interaction, compliment, snap at me... i think we all just need to take a step back and chill. but in the meantime, i was on the verge of exhausted tears in my cube at one point, and made it all better by snarfing down a deep-fried oreo (damn catered break food).
i just have to keep saying to myself: salsa dancing on wednesday, wedding on saturday... salsa on wednesday, wedding on saturday...
tomorrow's the 1-year anniversary of monkey's death. i've already been crying on and off over the last few days. i hope i forget about it tomorrow, because otherwise i may end up curled-up and sobbing in one of the bathroom stalls.
