back to the grind today.
Sep. 5th, 2006 05:44 pmand exhausted, to boot. those dreams last night, plus going to bed late, really made for an "eh" sleep night and a loooong tired day. the day yesterday was fun though... cruising with the top down, wandering around chestnut hill (such a cute town!), and grilling burgers and dogs with a cold beer as the sun set. (and i did it all by myself, which is a huge accomplishment... the grill kind of freaks me out, so my dad always does it.)
i'm checking into dance classes at la luna studio, my first ones will be next week. i was hoping to hit one this week, but i already have plans for that night. oh well. i'm looking at salsa and west coast swing... but we'll have to see what level of each i should sign up for. they have no advanced WCS classes, but the instructor is a national dance champion, so i'm hoping an intermediate level 4 class with her will be enough to keep me interested. for salsa, they're recommending i start with the basic, BASIC intro class before i move on... ugh. i know, i'm so bad, i just hate group classes because they move so sloooow. i might just scrounge up the money for a few privates with one of the instructors to get me to an intermediate level, and then take the weekly lessons from there. we'll see.
for tonight, a pilates DVD and then several hours with my awesome book before bed. i've had to hold off on my reading with everything going on lately... and dammit, tonight i am brewing some coffee, turning off the phone, and just hunkering down with angus and the book. can't WAIT.
