swingchickiegod, this week is dragging...
didn't go dancing last night... instead, i watched 2 episode of "queer eye" (loveloveLOVE that show). also saw the next episode of "blow out", the reality show about the new salon in beverly hills... i know that i should be against reality tv (as an actress in my "former life", i know that every reality show takes acting jobs away from a lot of hopefuls)... but i just LOVE this one. the fact that jonathan (the celebrity stylist) is this mix of like a million different people... one minute he's got this california slick bravado going on, that swingers-esque attitude, the next minute he's weeping in his car because the salon won't be ready on time. it's fascinating. he's also the spitting image, clothing and all, of my b.f.'s brother (who is an actor in hollywood), which is a hoot.
there's a girl on that show, the senior stylist, named jenn... she has the most amazing hair i've ever seen. it's this beautiful pale cotton-candy pink... and it's perfect for her. it makes her skin look flawless, and her makeup and clothing always go with the pink hair. she's absolutely stunning. her picture is here: "blow out" bio
i was on a huge shoe kick last night as well. went to a couple of websites to order stuff...
zappos.com has every possible shoe you could imagine, from the average $35 pair all the way up to $500 and more. some really hot stuff there.
danceshopper.com is for ballroom dancers... i don't do ballroom dancing, but they have some great dance shoes that i can wear out swing dancing. if you click on "shoes", the cheetah pair on the main page is on its way to me as we speak! wahoo! i also got a huge box of swarovski crystals through this site... $35 gets you over 1,400 crystals to glue on clothing or whatever else you want. my friends and i are going to have a "bling" party in a few weeks and just sparkle the hell out of some clothing, then i'll use whatever's left over to put on my cell phone. *grin*
