musikfest!!!!

swingchickiewhee! all kinds of music... carnival food... dancin'... what's not to love???
went with P, whom i hadn't seen in ages... he's my musikfest buddy every year, because he likes all the same stuff there that i do (and he lives on the way, so it's a great excuse for us to hang out and catch up). despite the blazing heat, it was a great time as usual... got to run into![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
pjstinson and his beautiful family, catch a live rap act that we found out later was the sugarhill gang, eat all sorts of crap that you can only get at a street festival like this...
mmm... deep fried oreos... (yes, i'm sweaty and look like hell. it was 90 degrees, shut up.)
P having a bit too much fun with the "dancing gecko" toy he won at the geico booth
then we went back to the booth, and *squeal*!!! the gecko himself!
the polka tent... of course, P and i had to jump out there and jitterbug for a bit... and in the zydeco tent as well...
i had to take a photo of this adorable couple, because this is what i want to be someday. when i'm 100, i want to wear a bad wig and copper metallic shoes and hobble around the dance floor with the man i love. it's one of the many reasons i'm still single -- i want THIS.

P, like every other man in the place, couldn't stop staring at the new keyboard player's top. she was bra-less and it draped down to there, and every guy was staring in the hopes that she'd have a "wardrobe malfunction".
time for beddy-bye. a day in the hot sun + jumping around and dancing = a very tired jenn. nite nite.
