swingchickieso, y'all remember my post from a week or so agao, that a guy i'd known in college (the ex of one of my girlfriends) died of complications from a brain tumor. instead of holding a formal memorial service, his wife and friends are organizing a fun tribute to him featuring all sorts of improv comedy, clips of some of his performances, and other wackiness. it should be a really fun, moving night, and all proceeds go to thomas jefferson memorial (where mike was cared for in his last months).
the information is below; i bought a general admission ticket, and would love it if some of you guys could come as well. we could sit together and, you know, laugh and stuff. the thing is, tickets are going to go FAST. seriously. not only are there a lot of people who are coming in to philly to pay tribute to mike, but the performers themselves (many of them from comedysportz) will bring in a crowd as well.
