whee! pictures of the new living room!



okay... here are some shots of the living room before. the room wasn't awful, it just 1. wasn't my style and 2. the paint color made the room feel smaller... plus 3. the paint job was just horrifying in how sloppy it was.

all the trim had wall paint on it, they didn't tape anything off or even try to stay in the lines:



this one's great, they went up the wall and then decided to stop.





sooooooo.... *drumroll* the NEW living room!!!!



i did most of the walls in a buttercream color ("beach haven", i think it was called), so there'd be a little bit of color but not enough to lessen the openness of the space.

so, that's it, all done! i'm so happy with it, and honestly the pictures don't even do it justice. wheeeee!

This looks realy amazing!!! what an improvement!!
You have fab taste .and have done so well in planning it as well! I must admit I grab a random paintbrush & do some bits with it - but I don't think about it .. i just kinda do it ...
I think i may do a plan in future though ... you've inspired me! hehe

Also - I am thinkin of heading to the USA for a holiday soon ... wheres do you visit/live etc ... maybe we could meet up at some point. I'll be travellin with my man but would be fab to have a drinkie if we are in the same areas.
