I'm not sure which makes me more sad. Here are the options:

1) The fact that you have a fire drill on a Friday Afternoon with the sun out and the temp in the mid-80's (always sucks)
2) The fact that the guy believes that he can win over the babes while writing like Prince in his Purple Rain days
3) The fact that there will be a woman who will find that cute.
4) The fact that the boy in #2 and the woman in #3 will find each other and breed producing a dolt of unprecedented stature.

...but I tend to take things to their illogical conclusion.

Bwahahaha, that's the funniest shit I've read all day...I actually snorted, loudly, in front of my senile mother.

Thank you.

Sorry to side-note this thread, but thought I would say heya chiquita. I can't believe I didn't have your LJ id before now, but I just found you. Anywho have fun and I'm sure I'll see you soon!

How do these sites work? Can you have age requirements to discourage younger suitors? It seems like that would be part of the purpose of an internet dating thing, to weed out what you don't want. Well, at least you don't have to meet him to find out. (So I guess it did work, sorta).

I never did any internet dating things, I always had to find out guys were much younger on the second date when they finally told me. Sometimes it was kind of obvious, but sometimes not.

Of course don't completely rule out cradle robbing. I ended up really liking one of those younger guys and married him. (Not half my age though).

i can set an age requirement for when *i* search, but anyone can search me out. i've received e-mails from an 18-year-old (youngest) to a 65-year-old (oldest), both "eeew" as far as i'm concerned.

i don't mind a teeeeeny bit younger... but if i was a freshman in college when you were born, that's pushing it.

glad to see you got an LJ!
