aaaaahhhhhhh.

last night was just what i needed. no hoops to make, a cancelled date with jack (because of the icy roads), and home early from work after our team lunch meant a huge stretch of time to do whatever i wanted. and i was a total slug -- i caught up on all my unread magazines, i had leftover chinese for dinner, i played gin on the computer, i watched TV, i even *gasp!* ate some chocolate. and i went to bed when i wanted, and slept this morning until i was done sleeping... no alarm or early wake-up. it was all so glorious.

in yesterday's yankee swap at lunch, i got an awesome plush throw blanket that says "ho ho ho" all over it. it's soft as a muppet. unfortunately angus likes it as well, as evidenced by the drool on his chin as he humped it on the couch last night. bleh.
