(no subject)

i think my lawn guy came over to do my fall "weed and seed" today. why do i think that? because there are FIFTY THOUSAND EFFING BIRDS cavorting happily on my lawn. i think i am single-handedly feeding the entire bird population in my neighborhood. dammit.

i also think i'm coming down with a cold. everyone at work is doing the "i'm sick as a dog but i'm going to be a martyr and come in anyway" thing, which drives me crazy. i have no illusions that i'm so important i can't call in to my meetings and spare the rest of my colleagues from the germ-fest. i'm chuggling a naked juice "power-C" in the hopes that i can stave it off a bit. but in the meantime i have to miss date night with my man now. *weep*
