weekend awesomeness
Mar. 15th, 2008 03:31 pm* i paid off my car yesterday. words can't express how psyched i am that vinnie is now mineallmine!!! i've never owned a car outright -- i used to lease one, then when i was in sales i had a company car... so this is the first time i've really OWNED one. and i paid off the 5-year loan in just over 2 years, which was hard but worth it. i could have spent all that money on cheap hookers and booze, but this feels much better. i think. :)

* i'm baking a cake to bring to mom's tomorrow (we're celebrating easter early)... if this cake tastes even half as good as it smells, i may just eat the whole thing myself. wowee. recipe is here: coconut oatmeal cake
