weeeeeeeeekend!!!
Feb. 23rd, 2008 07:32 amwow, was i a slug during the snow day yesterday. i sat on my couch from 6am until i went to bed at 11pm. yes, i worked from there all day, but when work was done i stayed glued... i'm sure there's a big butt-shaped dent in the couch now.
i exaggerate a teeny bit... i did go out to clean the snow off my car. i would have done the driveway, but one of my neighbors beat me to it. she was so excited to finally use her snowblower, she did every driveway on the street. LOL ooh! i also made a snowman... i haven't made one since i was a kid. it's not the most perfect one ever, but at least he's having fun:

i also got a hoop order, so i spent my lunch break making that so i could ship it out today. if i do say so myself, the girl's going to love it... she e-mailed me to tell me she's bringing it to florida next week for her vacation, and this design is going to be GORGEOUS in the sun. every time i make a Solstice, i think "i have to make one for myself one of these days."
i was such a Lazy McLazerton, i didn't even play with my new LED hoop... by the time it got dark enough to use, i was passed out on the couch. :) it's cute, but not as bright as i expected... maybe i just need to take it outside one night when it's a bit warmer and play around with it. but the glow tape hoops i make are almost as bright as this $95 LED one when the lights are out, so not sure i'll splurge on another.
