i have the best mommy ever.
Oct. 27th, 2006 08:17 pmi have been so pissy lately. i know it's stress from work, and the change in seasons, and all sorts of other personal stuff going on... my normal unhealthy way of dealing with it is to curl up into a ball and hibernate and push everyone away, while at the same time cursing the heavens that i am alone in my misery. (i know, pretty pathetic.)
so, my family wanted to take me out for a nice dinner tonight to celebrate my birthday, and i was all "*hissssssssss*... no, i don't wanna... *growwwwllllll* let's just got to red lobster and eat crappy fried seafood and then i'm going home and going to bed early, freaking birthday, *grumble grumble*..." but mom saw through it. when i came home from work yesterday, there was a potted mum plant on my doorstep, and a helium balloon tied to my doorknob. awwww. and then when i picked her up for red lobster tonight, she gave me a few little gifties, all wrapped in leopard-print wrapping paper. AWWWWWW. but the best was when i checked my e-mail just now... she sent me this today:
