whee! fun!
Sep. 13th, 2006 06:51 amlooking ahead over the next several days, i'm psyched that i've got so much going on. tonight will be salsa at brasil's, for their intermediate lesson (yes, it's in the city, but
boutell says it kicks arse)... friday night is sex dwarf... saturday night B is performing in one of the fringe festival things... and sunday is the last night of salsa at rock lobster for the season. SO psyched.
somwhere in there i have the downer of dealing with house-y stuff as well. saturday i have a contractor coming in to give me an estimate on sealing off my bathroom from the outside, once the trees are removed... i also have to look into re-painting my kitchen (after all that money i spent), because the new roof that was put on a couple of years ago had a stray nail in it that dislodged and popped up a shingle, which caused a massive water leak in my ceiling over labor day weekend... now i have a big yellow stain across my ceiling and down the wall. *gnashing teeth* someone remind me again why it's financially feasible to own a house, because i have yet to see it.
i saw my neighbor last night, for the first time in weeks. she just got back from vacation... visiting the previous owners of my house. i would LOVE to have been a fly on the wall for that. things are much better between us, we had a nice conversation and all with no mention of whether she'd heard about the trees growing into the house... i don't want to mention it to her, because things are nice between us now and i don't want to drag her into the situation when she's friends with the other couple.
well, that's all for now, kiddos.
